Custom Wallpaper & Wall Murals for Your Space
Custom wallpaper and wall murals are printed to the measurements of one particular wall. You give us the dimensions and either the artwork you already have or the idea you want us to draw; we set the design at the right scale, plan where the panel joins fall, and print it here in Magnolia, Texas for clients in Houston, The Woodlands, Spring and further afield.
What this service covers
Three kinds of work sit under the same heading. Repeating wallpaper carries a pattern evenly across a wall or a room. A wall mural is a single picture — a landscape, a painterly scene, an illustration — sized so its focal point lands where you want it. Arch and shaped feature panels are murals cut to a defined outline, often behind a bed or in an entry.
Specialty printed wallcoverings run through the same process: a custom design, a material picked for the room, panels made for your wall.
For homes, and for the designers specifying them
-
Residential projects
Bedrooms, entries, dining rooms, powder rooms and stairwells. Homeowners usually arrive with a photo of the wall and a feeling rather than a file, which is a fine place to start.
-
Interior designers
Designers usually arrive with an elevation, a palette and a deadline. We adapt supplied artwork, rework a repeat so it sits correctly in the drawing, and shift color so the wallcovering agrees with the finishes already specified — more on the page for interior designers.
Your artwork, or a design we draw with you
If you have the artwork, send it. We open the file at the size it is meant to print, look at resolution and detail at that scale, and say plainly whether it will hold up or needs redrawing. You need to own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it.
If there is no artwork yet, we design it with you — motif, palette, density and repeat, drawn for your room. Either route ends in the same place: a file built for one specific wall.
Scaling and panel planning
Worth being clear about: a mural is one coordinated design supplied in installation panels, not an unlimited-size seamless sheet. The material has a working width, so a wide wall is covered by several numbered panels hung in order.
-
Scale set against the wall
We scale the design to your measured height and width so the horizon, the focal point and the furniture line land where you want them.
-
Joins planned, not discovered
Joins are positioned before printing — kept clear of a face or focal animal where we can, and worked around outlets, switches, returns and door casings.
-
Trim allowance included
Panels carry allowance at the top and bottom so the installer has something to trim against. Ceilings are rarely level, and material is easier to remove than to add.
Material chosen for the project
Material is picked per project rather than by default. A hallway in a family home, a powder room and a fitting room in a shop are not the same problem and do not want the same surface. We go through the options that suit your wall and the room's light, then send samples of the ones worth considering.
Printed color samples
Screens and print do not agree, so color is settled from something printed. Samples are complimentary, chosen for your project and mailed once we have confirmed the address. If the color needs to move, we adjust before the full run. Request samples
What to send for a quote
A quote comes together quickly when the first message includes the basics.
-
The wall
Approximate width and height, plus a photo taken straight on. Note anything interrupting the wall — a window, a return, a switch plate.
-
The design
Your artwork, or the inspiration you are working from. One image or PDF attaches to the inquiry form; larger files we arrange by email.
-
Where and when
The project's location and your target date. Exact dimensions and a budget are optional — say so and we will work them out with you.
Delivery and installation
Finished panels are prepared for collection from the studio or for shipping; domestic and international shipping is quoted per project and destination.
We design and print; installation is not included in a print order and we keep no in-house installation crew. Installation can be discussed on request for nearby locations, including Houston, The Woodlands, Spring and Magnolia, and is quoted separately. Ask and we will tell you what is available where you are.
Wallpaper and mural questions
Can you print artwork I already own?
Yes. We can review and print artwork you supply, and we open it at the size it is meant to print so we can tell you honestly how it will hold up. You need to own the artwork or have permission to reproduce it.
Is a mural one seamless piece?
No. A mural is one coordinated design supplied in installation panels, not an unlimited-size seamless sheet. We plan where the panel joins fall before printing so the design still reads as a single image on the wall.
Do samples cost anything?
Samples are complimentary. We choose them for your project and confirm mailing details with you first.
Do you install the wallpaper?
Our focus is design and printing. Installation is not included in a print order; it can be discussed on request for nearby locations and is quoted separately.
Will you ship outside Texas?
Yes. Domestic and international shipping can be arranged, and it is quoted per project and destination.
