Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the inquiry form on the contact page, which depends on the kind of inquiry you choose:

• Always: your name, email address, city or ZIP / postal code, country, and which of the three inquiry types you selected.
• Optional: telephone number and company or studio name.
• For a project inquiry: the service you selected, your description of the project, and — if you choose to provide them — approximate dimensions, a date, a budget range, and one image or PDF attachment.
• For a sample request: the material or design you are interested in, and any project notes you add.
• For a studio visit request: your preferred date and time and what you would like to see or discuss.

We do not ask for your mailing address on the form. If you request samples, we email you to confirm mailing details separately.

The form also contains a hidden field that is expected to stay empty. It exists to catch automated submissions, and it collects nothing about you.

Why we collect it

To reply to your inquiry, to quote and carry out work you ask us to do, and to keep ordinary business records of the projects we have worked on. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

Who processes it for us

We do not keep our own application servers, so a small number of service providers handle your submission on our behalf:

• Netlify hosts this website and processes the inquiry form. Your submission — including any file you attach — is stored in our Netlify account and emailed to our studio inbox. Netlify also records ordinary server request data such as IP addresses when pages are served.
• Automattic provides the Akismet spam filtering that Netlify applies to form submissions, so submission content passes through that check.
• Hostinger hosts the arnacollective.com email service, which is where your inquiry arrives and where our reply is sent from.

These providers handle the data to deliver the service to us. If you would like to know more about any of them before sending us anything, email us and we will point you to their current terms.

Files you attach

An attachment goes into our Netlify form submissions and our email inbox. It is not published on this website, it is not placed in the site's public files, and it is not sent to any analytics service.

Analytics and cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers at the time of writing. Fonts are served from this site rather than a third-party font service, so loading a page does not call out to another company.

The code contains a hook for a future analytics tool. It is inactive: with nothing configured, nothing is sent anywhere. If we do add analytics, it will only ever receive the fact that an inquiry was submitted and which type it was — never your name, email, message or attachment — and we will update this notice.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries in our email inbox and in our Netlify form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and to keep reasonable records of our work. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule, and we would rather tell you that than quote a number we do not actually enforce. If you want yours removed, ask us and we will delete it.

Your requests

Email info@arnacollective.com to ask for a copy of what you have sent us, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Tell us the email address you used so we can find it. We reply to these requests as we do to any other — within one business day.

Children

This site is aimed at people commissioning design and print work. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information — a new form field, an analytics tool, a different form provider — we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
